This event is organized around a particular theme: it\n aims to explore the question of how to poetically approach the Sephardic past. Hence through literary artifacts\, written and oral t estimony\, and musical works. Relevant\, too\, are the odds and ends of La dino culture&rsquo\;s vast archive\, such as diaries\,\n religious manu als\, family stories\, burial practices\, dietary laws&mdash\;even dreams. The &lsquo\;poetic past&rsquo\; is conceived broadly. It entails cultural acts directed at creatively or imaginatively transmitting an unsung Sepha rdic heritage to\n the present and future. Such acts are commonly forge d through the expressive media of word and song\, narratives by which we c hoose to live. But they also encompass other practices: dance\, painting\, sculpture\, performance\, to list only a few.
