HUC-JIR-Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati launch joint PhD program in Modern Jewish History and Culture

The Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion-Cincinnati and the History Department of the University of Cincinnati are excited to announce the launch of a joint PhD program in modern Jewish History and Culture. The program draws on the strengths of the two institutions to combine deep and rigorous training in both broader Jewish Studies and History. Distinguished and up-and-coming core faculty of the program include Kate Sorrels, Gary Zola, Ethan Katz, Jennifer Grayson, and Mark Raider. Applications accepted now until JANUARY 16, 2018.
