The Association for Jewish Studies remains committed to supporting wide participation in its Annual Conference. In particular, the AJS seeks to support untenured faculty, graduate students, independent scholars without full-time employment, parents/guardians
of children needing care during the conference, and international scholars who receive little to no institutional support for conference attendance. All accepted presenters (Speakers, Respondents, or Chairs) are eligible to apply.
The
AJS thanks the following for their support in funding these grants:

The AJS also thanks Rice University Program in Jewish Studies for its support of the childcare grants.
Although the priority deadline is August 14, 2023 you are encouraged to apply early as funds will be disbursed on a first come, first served basis.
