More about Boston

The AJS 50th Annual Conference has moved to the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center. The AJS has ended its contract with the Sheraton Boston, as the Marriott Corporation and the UniteHere labor organization were unable to settle their labor dispute as of November 15.

The labor dispute that prompted the relocation of the conference in order to ensure full member participation has now ended. To reverse the decision to move hotels is not feasible. The AJS thanks our membership for their extraordinary support over the last few weeks and looks forward to devoting our full energy now to ensuring that the conference is a success in every respect.
