The Program Committee meets in-person for several days in June to review Division Chair recommendations and make final decisions for the AJS Annual Conference program, and meets virtually throughout the year, including twice in January/February to discuss the wildcard proposals and the Call For Papers and in September/October to discuss additional programming for the conference. Members are appointed to a three-year term. We are currently seeking a graduate student representative.
Division Chairs are primarily responsible for encouraging submissions throughout the Call for Papers period and then examining each conference submission in their respective divisions during the review process. Each chair serves for a three-year term.
