  The Association for Jewish Studies is a learned society and professional organization whose mission is to advance research and teaching in Jewish Studies at colleges, universities, and other institutions of higher learning, and to foster greater understanding of Jewish Studies scholarship among the wider public.

1) If you haven't logged in to the new AJS member website (MyAJS) since October 2025, please set up a new login account: https://myajs.associationforjewishstudies.org/welcome

2) If you've previously logged in to the new AJS member website using a Google or LinkedIn account, you won't have a password -- you will be able to log in by selecting "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with LinkedIn."

3) If you've joined or renewed your membership for 2026 but can't log in to the conference proposal submission website, please make sure you are completely logged out of the MyAJS member website (myajs.associationforjewishstudies.org):

- If you are logged in, click your name at the upper right and click "Logout."

- You may also need to quit and relaunch your web browser.

- Then try again to log in to the conference proposal website.

4) If you receive an SSO error message when trying to log in to the conference proposal website, please:

- Make sure you're logged out of the MyAJS member website (see above)

- Make sure your web browser is updated. For Google Chrome, click the three-dots menu at the upper right and select Help > About Google Chome.
