The Annual Conference of the Association for Jewish Studies is the largest annual international gathering of Jewish Studies scholars in the world. With more than 1200 attendees, over 190 sessions, a major book exhibit of leading publishers, cultural programming, plenary, and awards, the AJS annual conference provides a unique opportunity to share ideas and explore the world of Jewish Studies scholarship.

Cost: Free for everyone but RSVP required
Where: 40 events events worldwide, including Shabbat dinners from Jerusalem to Philadelphia, brunches from San Antonio to Paris, and a klezmer and cocktails event in NYC - plus new events are still being added!
This is your chance to show off your creativity and hospitality - create a potluck, game night, food and wine tasting, or crafting session. Guests will share food and time with friends, new and old. Funding is also available to help cover hosting costs.
Registration Subventions: Thanks to generous donations from AJS members and several foundations, the AJS offers registration subventions to defray conference costs for eligible members. Applications must be received by August 26th; however, as funds are limited, early applications are encouraged.
Dependent Care Grants: Funding to defray caregiving costs (for children and dependent adults) is available. Requests for funding must be made by August 26th.
