Kineret Noam

KINERET NOAM grew up in a religious home. As a child, Yom Kippur was a dramatic and ecstatic event. She created a series of seven decorated Torah ark covers illustrated around the question, “What’s happening in the sky on Yom Kippur,” from a changing perspective. The illustrations consist of ornaments from the Jewish tradition and are based on descriptions from the Talmud, Kabbalistic texts, the prayer cycle, and childhood memories.
